Hello. I wrote the MadV page.

Please feel free to share any more relevant information with me by leaving a message here.

Hey lungs, I was just wondering if you have found any hard evidence of any of Madv's missing videos. Ever since their removal from Youtube it has been impossible to see them, and I need proof behind one of my statements I wished to add to the MadV article. The Speculation about his video containing his actual voice in "To the Haters" can easily be disproven if someone can find a clip of the actual video, because it actually contains a sound clip from a movie. I'm trying to find this to prove my point, but it seems damn near impossible due to his deletion of this video from Youtube. Zerhynn 06:06, 29 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

  • No, I haven't found a copy anywhere. If you do, then be sure to let me know, and add it to the wiki Lungsboat 07:18, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
    • Found it. It took me awhile, but I apologize for in fact being incorrect about the contents of the video. It does contain his real speech, not a voice-over. I apologize again for the comment, and hope that I can also be credited for the re-discovery of this lost video. Check out http://youtube.com/watch?v=Zjiy_wlevkU , I posted it on my Youtube account.
      • Well done. Now we know what was said!Lungsboat 07:33, 7 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
        • I'm not sure if this means anything, but speculation as to where MadV comes from has been resolved. He has now personally told me via Youtube.com message he resides in the United States. It was clear by his accent, but now at least we have some sort of a confirmation.Zerhynn (talk) 20:06, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of MadV

edit

I have nominated MadV, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MadV (2nd nomination). Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Orphaned non-free media (Image:MadV.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:MadV.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:03, 22 October 2008 (UTC)Reply
