April 2012 edit

Your addition to Threenix has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. (The sources of the copyrighted text were http://wiki.threenix.com/What%27s_Threenix and http://wiki.threenix.com/CLI .)Mr. Stradivarius 07:07, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Actually, on second thoughts, it looks like you are the sole author of the text over at the Threenix Wiki. The Wiki doesn't indicate what licence the text is released under, though, so by default Wikipedia assumes that it is copyrighted. It is possible for you to release the content under a licence that Wikipedia will accept, but even so we may not be able to include your text on Wikipedia. For example, text on Wikipedia must not be promotional, and it must be written from a neutral point of view. Furthermore, we need to see evidence that Threenix is notable before we can have an article on it at all. Let me know if you have any questions about this. Proposed deletion of Threenix edit

The article Threenix has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I can't find any sources indicating this software suite is notable.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — Mr. Stradivarius 07:18, 27 April 2012 (UTC)Reply
