JF Robitaille edit

Hi. I've moved the article Jf robitaille to JF Robitaille, notice the change in capital letters. Can you give some sources for the article as to its notability? (Click on those blue links to read about them.) --EarthPerson 18:32, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi. As far as citing sources, a simple way is to put the URL for the page you found the information at the end of a sentence using ref tags, like this:
JF Robitaille is something something something<ref>http://www.somewebaddress.com</ref>.
You also need to put references section like this:
==References==
<references/>
This section will pick up <ref> tags and list them in order. Again, take a look at wp:cite and play around in the wp:sandbox. Take a look at Thomas Turgoose, an article that I created that has three references in it.
I think you may have a issue with notability though. I did a google on "JF Robitaille" and most things that came back were mostly just about the music, but not much notability about the artist himself, at least not in terms of Wikipedia. Here were the best sources I could find:
But again, these didn't talk about much more than the music. You may also want to look over wp:band which deals with particulars for musicians. Good luck. --EarthPerson 20:29, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:JFRobitaille.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:JFRobitaille.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 22:08, 22 June 2007 (UTC)
