September 2020 edit

Hello, I'm TJRC. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Caryl Chessman, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. In addition to the lack of sourcing, there's no indication that this factoid is of sufficient importance to merit mention in the article; certainly if it's not discussed in any third-party reference, it is not.

As an aside, please do not mark your non-minor edits as "minor". See WP:MINOR for guidance on when you should use that. TJRC (talk) 17:30, 4 September 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi TJRC, thanks for the guidance. You're right that there's no third-party reference for this fact. However, I did notice that one of the other facts in the article, that Chessman is mentioned in a Genesis song, only cites the song's lyrics. How is that different? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lordgrenville (talkcontribs) 11:38, September 7, 2020 (UTC)
I'm not arguing that it's different. TJRC (talk) 17:15, 7 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
