July 2007 edit

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Evanna Lynch. Your edits appear to be vandalism and have been reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Please don't use articles to post your views, that's why the talk pages are there.   Please stop. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:Lopsider321, you will be blocked for vandalism. Angel Of Sadness T/C 12:40, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. If you continue to use talk pages such as Talk:Emma Watson for inappropriate discussions you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Angel Of Sadness T/ C 12:41, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I have no idea how to use this so I apologize. How do i make it stop telling me I have new messages, I thought I just deleted it? Lopsider321 12:45, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

And quite frankly this is MY talk page so shouldn't I be the admin of what goes on in MY talk section of MY username?

Not if you delete warnings from it. Angel Of Sadness T/C 12:48, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

BLOCKED FROM EDITING WIKIPEDIA?! Lemme count in my head how many ISBs my local library has >:D

Your messages edit

The only way to stop it from telling you of your new messages is to view those new messages. Yes this is your talk page but no you are not the administrator of it. Deleting warnings from other editors on this talk page is actually grounds for an indefinate block on the account. Angel Of Sadness T/C 12:51, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

I didn't make up the rules but they say that you can't use articles for your views that's why there is a talk page on every article. But using the talk page for discussions which in no way help the article is a no-no. Talk pages are to be used for discussing the article and how to improve it. Saying something like "so and so is the sexiest hottie on this earth" or whatever is inappropriate as talk pages are not forums. As I'm a vandalism patroler I know and have seen what vandalism is, my job is to revert it and warn the vandals. Your edits are actually considered vandalism but if you want to check what is and what's not vandalism check out Wikipedia:Five pillars. Angel Of Sadness T/C 13:03, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
And how exactly do those comments help the article. We are trying to run an on-line encycopedia here not a forum.Angel Of Sadness T/C 13:08, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

The talk page is not to be used as a forum but if you notice, the only people who really use it as a forum are IP addresses without accounts and don't know the rules. There doesn't need to be a forum tab on articles because none of that would help the article. The talk page is there to discuss improvements for the article like "Should this be mentioned? or Should this picture should be used?" that sort of thing. It's not a place where you discuss the celebrity's looks that's done at the official forum of the celebrity and there's plenty of them. Angel Of Sadness T/C 13:16, 15 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
