The Drink article does not satisfy Wikipedia's notability guidelines. I have merged it. Please see the merging and moving pages guidelines if disagree to this decision. Also, be sure to add wiki links to any terms that may be confusing to the average user. --Dan Leveille 01:03, 15 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

This article is one of many that were apparently targetted by someone working from an RIT IP address. This person is indiscriminately adding "notability" and "no footnote" tags to anything and everything associated with RIT. While this article (like any article) could surely be improved, this is not the way to do it.129.21.40.195 (talk) 12:47, 15 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hazing allegations edit

Someone keeps posting vague allegations of hazing with a source that is highly unreliable and keeps reverting any changes to remove it. Please justify its inclusion and find a reliable source to back it up or allow it to be removed. Alexwho314 (talk) 22:20, 5 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Agreed, a reddit self post is not a reliable source. I've removed the reference for now. If someone can find a reliable source for this information, feel free to add it back. Random character sequence (talk) 20:00, 19 May 2017 (UTC)Reply
Thank you. This user has been annoyingly persistent in keeping the paragraph up there. Alexwho314 (talk)
I couldn't find any decent sources for the hazing allegations, but based on the history it doesn't look like the IP user is going to let this go. In the interest of avoiding an edit war I've tagged the reference as unreliable and primary. Hopefully leaving it in as disputed will be a good compromise until better references can be found. I doubt you'll find better references, as the source itself was purposely very vague. I asked someone in Computer Science House about this, and they said there was nothing to back up these claims (e.g. a publicly available incident report). I submitted a request to semi-protect this page to prevent this person from reposting consistently. Alexwho314 (talk)
