Taoist Tai Chi

The bit about not having any martial training in Moy's Tai Chi style is what JohJak2 has included in the Taoist Tai Chi article. I had heard that before, hearsay, but since JohJak2 studies the Taoist Society programme and had included the claim in the article (along with the Taoist form names) it seemed like a good cite. Perhaps some branches of Taoist Tai Chi are different? --Fire Star 19:49, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

...no branch is different from any other in this respect. Master Moy's legacy is guarded strictly.

However, none of the tai chi forms or teachers I've ever been exposed to (Simplified tai chi, Yang, Hwa Yue) have stressed the martial arts side any different from what we experience at the Taoist Tai Chi Society. Therefore I find it would be either correct to delete all or none of the internal arts from the Wikipedia:List_of_Wikipedians_by_martial_art ...and I'm not encouraging you to do delete ! Despite the difficulty in categorising tai chi, I advocate that we put it under martial art, and allow all practitioners to appear on the 'List_of_Wikipedians_by_martial_art' for reference. --Lok hup 09:49, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
