July 2014 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to A.K.A. (album) may have broken the syntax by modifying 2 "{}"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Lisa_Bathgate reported by User:Livelikemusic (Result: ). Thank you. livelikemusic my talk page! 14:54, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello Lisa. According to the report at WP:AN3#User:Lisa Bathgate reported by User:Livelikemusic (Result: ) you have reverted four times in 24 hours at A.K.A. (album), which puts you at risk of a block. It would be to your advantage to respond to the report and promise to make no more changes until you have got a talk page consensus. EdJohnston (talk) 16:48, 3 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
If you are not intending any response to the 3RR, an admin may proceed with the block. I see you have continued to change the genre language in Unapologetic even after the above notice. Genre is subject to consensus and is not just your personal opinion. EdJohnston (talk) 14:48, 4 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Vandalism against consensus edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Unapologetic. Because you have been warned repeatedly about this specifically, this is your final warning. Dan56 (talk) 06:09, 4 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Genre warring edit

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 48 hours for edit warring, as you did at A.K.A. (album). Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.

The full report of this case is at this 3RR report (permalink). EdJohnston (talk) 17:24, 4 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

Blocked for sockpuppetry edit

  • Creating those other accounts is clearly socking. I've been exceedingly generous by blocking you one month here, I suggest you accept that in good faith and come back in Aug. with a better attitude. Your next block is likely to be for an indefinite period of time. Dennis Brown |  | WER 21:24, 7 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
Actually it was MariaJaydHicky's. 183.171.183.217 (talk) 18:32, 5 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
