Disputed fair use rationale for File:Rickyamybaby.jpg} edit

Thank you for uploading File:Rickyamybaby.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. License tagging for File:JustinRussoWWoWP.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:JustinRussoWWoWP.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 19:06, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:JustinRussoWWoWP.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading File:JustinRussoWWoWP.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 16:34, 13 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl)/to do edit

Just curious as to why you remade the page Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl)/to do? AFAIK, talk pages of articles should not have subpages except for archives, and the to do information is already at Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl), where it should be. I'm scratching my head here.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 00:16, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

My mistake. When I clicked on edit at the top of the template, it took me to the Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl)/to do page. I'm still pretty new and learning my way around mainly by trial and error, and writing in the area worked. It didn't seem right, but I couldn't figure out how to fill in the to do box any other way. The to do list is now empty- do you know how to fill it in without recreating the page again? I did exactly what the wiki help article says, as far as I can tell. Thanks, Liquidluck (talk) 00:37, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
Hmm... I did a little experimenting, and it looks like the {{to do}} template is the culprit. I don't think it should be working like that, but I'll look into it tomorrow. In the meantime, I copied the tasks template it made into Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl), and you can edit that on the talk page. I'll get back to you when I find something out. Happy editing!--Fabrictramp | talk to me 01:30, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

(outdent) Okay, here's what I found out. The template is supposed to create the subpage of the talk page. (After reviewing, I think this is pushing the boundaries of the allowed uses, but it doesn't bother me enough to take on that fight. *grin*) The reason I hadn't seen this before is that the maintenance lists I work off of are mainspace, and when you accidentally created Valley Girls (Gossip Girl)/to do, it popped onto the lists. I've restored Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl)/to do, moved your changes from Talk:Valley Girls (Gossip Girl), and then reverted that page back to how it was before I mucked it up. Sorry for the confusion!--Fabrictramp | talk to me 16:34, 5 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

That's alright. Thank you for taking the time to investigate!Liquidluck (talk) 00:08, 6 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Broken references edit

In this edit you added a reference to The Secret Life of the American Teenager called "teensecret". Could you please tell me the full reference, or where you got it from? Thank you, Debresser (talk) 11:55, 9 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

That edit was so long ago I can't remember the reference or what I was thinking. I also can't find a new reference, so I'll just take that sentence out. Thanks for catching that! Liquidluck (talk) 02:50, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply
I saw you did that. Thanks. The reason it went undetected for so long is because of faulty references formatting. This was fixed only yesterday, and the broken reference rose up right away. Debresser (talk) 07:59, 10 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

Secret Life (Season 1) edit

Hello. Thanks for your help on the Secret Life pages. I want to let you know, if you know the episodes really well, the episode summaries on the season one page from episode one to eleven need to be expanded. I plan on doing it if/when I get the DVD. If you can help, that would be great. Also, I think you already know, but there is and probably will be a lot of spamming and vandalising, just warning you. Character Status(rumored) edit

I speculate that Ashley is already in pursuit of Will before he and Ronnie meet, and I believe she more or less hangs out with Cassie as opposed to heading up a clique. In my opinion, it's highly likely that she, not Scott, will attempt to drive a wedge between Will and Ronnie. Like Teddy, I believe Ashley will play a small but pivotal role in testing the strength of Will and Ronnie's new relationship.Fluxions1643 (talk) 18:22, 13 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

The Last Song Filming edit

Just wanted to let you know I was on the set for the last of the pier filming. July 30 was the bonfire scene (under the pier) and July 31 was the final shoot in the pavillion. Both were "pick-up" shoots that completed scenes that were left hanging since mid june due to scheduling problems. While speaking with the rigging crew for the bonfire scene, I learned that the aquarium scene will be shot sometime in mid August at the Atlanta Aquarium. Got lots of good pictures. I'll email them when I get home. These hotel computers will not allow uploads.Fluxions1643 (talk) 04:06, 3 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Miley Cyrus & Hannah Montana edit

I have seen how you've edited articles that relate to Miley Cyrus and Hannah Montana. I am proposing a WikiProject for any article pertaining to the actress, singer and songwriter Miley Cyrus, as well as for the franchise, Hannah Montana. A majority of these articles (ex: "Who Said", Hannah Montana 2/Meet Miley Cyrus and Miles to Go) are lacking sources, images, description and more. They can and should be expanded. I am proposing this WikiProject so that any collaborators may work on the articles pertaining to the singer/franchise, the goal being to bring them up to a FA and GA status on Wikipedia. Red Links edit

We encourage some additions of red links if you know the article will be created soon, However, Nick Lashaway may fail the notability requirements to deserve his own article see that he has only had about five notable roles (10 in total). ©Ξ 08:00, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

He has a very notable role in 25/8, but his role in The Last Song is not very big and the Little Murder role is just under very notable. Also, these films have not yet been released, and only two results turned up after doing a Google News search. In time to come, I'm sure he will definitely get his own article, you may attempt to create it now but it probably will get deleted. ©Ξ 00:26, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
Re: He has a very important role in 25/8 (released late 2009 - early 2010) and The Last Song (April 2010). I don't think the release itself will increase his notability but he will become more known after the release. So about mid-2010 he will probably be receiving more roles and his popularity will expand and he will become more notable. ©Ξ 03:47, 26 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Task force edit

I saw that you posted about making a task force of Disney Channel artists and only discussing their work under Disney. I have to say that the idea seems a little weird to me because I think if you make it a Disney Channel task force, it should only discuss Disney Channel and its shows. This would leave out any music or film from artists like Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, or the Jonas Brothers that is not a soundtrack to a series (ex: Hannah Montana, Wizards of Waverly Place, and the upcoming JONAS soundtrack). Since our initial idea was just to cover Miley Cyrus, I think we should make a task force under the actor's and musician's Wikipedia. We wouldn't include her book, oh well. Or if you want to make something more broad, we could make a Disney musician or Disney artists. Please reply so we could discuss what we're going to do in a few weeks. -- Ipodnano05 (talk) 02:40, 15 October 2009 (UTC)Reply
