Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove speedy deletion tags from pages that you have created yourself, as you did with AccelAero. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, then please place {{hangon}} on the page (please do not remove any existing speedy deletion tag) and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. --lifebaka (Talk - Contribs) 13:03, 7 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Internet Booking Engine edit

A tag has been placed on Internet Booking Engine, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read our the guidelines on spam as well as the Wikipedia:Business' FAQ for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Redirection of Internet Booking Engine(IBE) edit

I've redirected this page to the Internet Booking Engine page. Please do not create multiple pages with the same content, as you also did with JKCS and John Keells Computer Services. It's good to see that you are working hard on adding articles, but could I suggest you read the following, which I think have some relevance to what you are doing:

  • WP:N - this details the general notability criteria that articles must meet. I suspect that some of your articles are not up to this standard and therefore liable to be deleted.
  • WP:SPAM - this details the WIkipedia line on 'commericial' articles. Again, I think some of your articles are borderline and you need to be careful.
  • WP:COI - this is about conflicts of interest. Looking at your revision history you seem to be very interesting in JCKS's products, which may be because you have a direct interest in them.

Drop me a line on my talk page if I can be of any help. BlinkingBlimey (talk) 12:50, 25 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Artificial Stupidity edit

An article that you have been involved in editing, Artificial Stupidity, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Artificial Stupidity. Thank you. • Don't remove the AfD tag - that does not stop the deletion debate taking place. You can give your views by taking part in the debate here. But first read Wikipedia's guidelines on Notability, Verifiability and Neologisms, which will explain why I nominated it. JohnCD (talk) 10:33, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of AccelAero edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article AccelAero, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Россавиа Диалог 11:06, 13 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Wallshops edit

The article Wallshops has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Lack of evidence that this e-commerce start-up has attained notability to meet WP:CORPDEPTH / WP:NWEB criteria.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Speedy deletion nomination of Satheeshan Rathnayaka edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Satheeshan Rathnayaka requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
