Sorry I didn't tell you this when I redirected the Crowd Control (song) article, but information added to articles needs to have been published in reliable, independently verifiable sources. I don't mean to offend you by saying this, but for all any of us (editors and readers) know you could be making it up - I'm not saying you are, but people have deliberately added false information about future single releases to Wikipedia in the past, so sources are needed to make sure what you're saying is true. It may be true, but if there are no outside sources to confirm it, we will have to wait until they become available before adding information about it. So, for now, rather than redirect the article again, I'm going to add a "citation needed" tag to the article. I hope you understand. Will there be an announcement made about the release of the single soon? Extraordinary Machine 15:38, 9 April 2007 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. Well, if the announcement won't be made until May, Wikipedia policy requires us to edit the article to remove the unsourced claims, particularly the ones about future events; see WP:CRYSTAL for more on that. So we have the source supporting the claim that the song exists, but we'll need to remove the stuff about the single release. Sorry about this, and I definitely don't mean to belittle your contributions, but verifiability is very important.

I do hope this is true, though, because I am a fan of Nelly Furtado... :) Extraordinary Machine 23:48, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

I never stated this was a single (in fact I removed it from the article) and I have never used the URL you left on my Talk Page as a source for anything, so I'm not sure exactly who you meant to leave that message for. - eo 21:59, 26 July 2007 (UTC)

Hi, there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. On many keyboards, the tilde is entered by holding the Shift key, and pressing the key with the tilde pictured. You may also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
