Copyrighted images edit

Please do not upload or place images that you found on the Internet into articles. They are clearly not "own work" and you will be blocked if you misattribute copyrighted images in this manner again. Acroterion (talk) 16:52, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

March 2015 edit

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:Acroterion, you may be blocked from editing. Ian.thomson (talk) 19:59, 24 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Blocking edit

I have blocked the Kind Dude account as an obvious sockpuppet. I've only blocked this accoutn for 48 hours, but if this account resumes its disruptive behavior after the block expires, it will be blocked indefinitely.

  • You can't upload copyrighted images and claim them as your own
  • You must obtain consensus for changes
  • You can't pretend to be other users
  • You need to read and understand material before you change it, i.e. the Mahirin edits where you treated a fighter wing and a fighter group as the same organization.
  • You must treat other editors with respect

Please reconsider your approach to editing the encyclopedia. Acroterion (talk) 11:55, 25 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Notice of Edit warring noticeboard discussion edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion involving you at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring regarding a possible violation of Wikipedia's policy on edit warring. The thread is Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring#User:Lightning_Sabre reported by User:Veggies (Result: ). Thank you. Veggies (talk) 07:57, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

March 2015 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Edit warring, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Murry1975 (talk) 08:32, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked temporarily from editing for persistent disruptive editing. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.   — Crisco 1492 (talk) 08:35, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I was blocked because of disruptive editing which I did not know about as I was using wikipedia for the first time. So,give me a last chance and I will improve my behavior with users and work together with them. So,unblock me and give me a chance.

Decline reason:

A Standard Offer approach could be taken in this case. PhilKnight (talk) 10:35, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You were given a second chance already, when you were given only a 48 hour block and asked - very politely - to discontinue your disruptive editing. But, you decided to not listen, and continued your pattern of disruption. So, what's to lead me to believe that you won't continue that pattern of editing once unblocked. now? If i do it again you can block me and i won't appeal for it.I promise I will learn about wikipedia before I edit anything and I won't violate any rules again I promise.Give me a last chance for me to improve.

Regards, Lightning Sabre

I'm sorry but your whole history has been one of disruptive editing. You have ignored all editors requests to stop and introduced a sockpuppet account as well. You have had your chances and not taken them. David J Johnson (talk) 10:36, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I am very sorry for being part of disruptive editing.I am telling you with tears that I am very sorry for doing it and I promise that,I will abide by the rules of Wikipedia.I am sorry for not taking other editors warnings because I thought that they were just simply joking. Then,I realised that these editors were long time users of wikipedia and they have experience in using it,but I did not know about it.I am very sorry and I will take this last chance very seriously. Please,I am begging you,if you administrators are compassionate to give a editor a chance to improve, then give me a 1 and a last chance to improve and I will be friendly with other editors.I promise that disruptive editing will end from now on.

Decline reason:

Too many problems in a short period of time. You were given opportunities and warnings to correct your actions and behaviors but failed to do so. only (talk) 14:42, 28 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text—which means allowing other people to modify it—then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later, and the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0 Unported License." • Considering you've been refused unblocking twice within a 24 hour period, this is getting disruptive. It's doubtful that things will change so quickly. — Crisco 1492 (talk) 09:45, 29 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should read the guide to appealing blocks, then contact administrators by submitting a request to the Unblock Ticket Request System. If you have already appealed to the Unblock Ticket Request System and been declined you may appeal to the Arbitration Committee's Ban Appeals Subcommittee.
Please note that there could be appeals to the unblock ticket request system that have been declined leading to the post of this notice.

A piece of advice edit

Lightning Sabre, you have read all the rules and guidelines? I have been on here over three years and I havent, I learn every day on here. Some I am going to give you some pointers

  • Stop posting unblock requests, if you had actually read the rules you would see this is disruptive and will increase your block to include your talkpage, give it a week before you post anymore or any request on your page as a sign of understanding
  • In your block request sying the same stuff over and over again is not going to do any good, again it can be seen as disruptive
  • Stop calling on users and admins to unblock just because they comment, only admins can block and unblock, and they do not like reputation.

Sit back and relax, take a break from here. Do the other things you enjoy and dont get worked up over the encyclopedia. Murry1975 (talk) 10:19, 29 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

  • Note - To any administrators or Checkusers reading this, please note that this account appears to be the main account of the UnderArmourKid sockfarm vandal, prior to his main period of mass vandalism and serial socking. The sock account User:L3 Antonio HS was likely this user's first registered account in late September 2014, which was a vandalism-only account, and soon after the indef blocking of that account, the user quickly generated 25 other vandalism-only accounts within 2 months, including User:Major23456. At the end of December 2014, the user created this account, Lightning Sabre, and used it as his main/good-hand account to edit, before the account was indef blocked in March 2015 for disruptive behavior and vandalism. Afterward, Lightning Sabre reverted entirely to vandalism, and continued to sock, and Lightning Sabre began creating accounts based on User:IPhonehurricane95's sockpuppet UnderArmourKid, and even imitated the 9/11 imagery vandalism and personal attack phrases used by both that sock account and IPhonehurricane95's IP socks from China. Due to Lightning Sabre's imitation of IPhonehurricane95's vandalism, Lightning Sabre can be considered to be a Meatpuppet of IPhonehurricane95, even though the 2 users have not yet been observed actively collaborating. When IPhonehurricane95 returned to vandalize in July 2016 as HeadrushGD, Lightning Sabre (the UnderArmourKid sockfarm vandal) worsened his vandalism and sped up his mass socking. Ever since then, Lightning Sabre's "UnderArmourKid" socks have been extremely disruptive, and the user has continued disrupting articles with 9/11 imagery vandalism and other childish forms of disruption, and the user has continued socking all the way up until now (February 2018). If any future "UnderArmourKid" makes a genuine or legitimate Unblock Request, they should be redirected by the admins to this talk page, because this account was the UnderArmourKid vandal's primary account. In addition, before considering any unblock, admins and Checkusers should consider this user's history of severe vandalism and sockpuppetry, and also ensure that this user has not vandalized or socked in any way (even as an IP) for at least a year, due to the severity and duration of Lightning Sabre's vandalism. And if he is unblocked, he needs to agree to certain conditions before the unblock, and he needs to be monitored closely by admins for at least 2-3 years afterward.
