Recommendations edit

If there are any interesting storms you would like to see on this page, please tell me right here. I, unfortunately, cannot include every single major storm, but I will try to hear you out, if there is a storm you really want to see. Please do not change the contents of the main page (except for grammar, citation, and formatting errors), unless I explicitly give you the permission to do so. However, I am open to suggestions, and improvements to the formatting of the page. LightandDark2000 (talk) 21:01, 1 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Page Help edit

Can someone help me fix the citation errors and add sources for Haiyan? Can someone also give me suggestions for making my page more stylish (somewhat like Portal: Tropical cyclones? I would appreciate the help. Thanks. LightandDark2000 (talk) 01:38, 24 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

2 featured storms for 2017 edit

If you are reading this, you may have noticed that for this year (2017), I have selected 2 storms for the Storm of the Year slot. :) This was because Hurricanes Harvey and Irma caused so much damage and broke so many records that I just couldn't decide on one single storm to take the "Storm of the Year" title for 2017. Hurricane Maria has been included in my list, but not yet promoted to featured storm status. By December 2017, depending on the post-storm analysis, that may or may not change. I've just added Hurricane Maria as a third storm of the year; Maria has caused at least $103.14 billion (2017 USD) in damage and possibly killed up to 583 people, making it more than worthy of being included in this slot. LightandDark2000 (talk) 12:08, 24 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hurricane Irma becomes popular edit

Interestingly, Hurricane Irma was the top Google searched topic in 2017. Now, isn't that cool? LightandDark2000 (talk) 22:39, 25 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
