Signing names and neutrality

Hi! I just wanted to drop by and recommend a few things. First off, you don't need to sign your name when you are editing inside of an article space. You only need to do that when you are commenting in a userspace or in a talk space. Secondly, I'd like to recommend that you look over WP:NPOV as far as editing goes. I don't think that you're exactly here to promote one side over another, but your edits read more like a student writing a personal paper for class than like a neutral encyclopedia. I see that you've made some claims on the article that aren't really backed up by some of the sources, such as stating that the book is "a “primer” or “guide” to the energy field". You absolutely MUST back these up with what Wikipedia considers to be a reliable source.

I have a feeling that this might be a class project for you and if it is, I really recommend that you read over some of the basics of editing on Wikipedia. I'm not trying to come across as rude, just that you appear to be sort of new to all of this and again, this comes across as someone's personal research paper rather than a neutral encyclopedia entry. You really need to be careful about accidentally inserting WP:OR (original research) and WP:NPOV or WP:POINT (your own point of view or that of your professor). • Also, be careful of mega text blocks. You need to be able to break up the text into several paragraphs in order to keep it from being a wall of text. Another big issue is redundancy. You created a criticism section along with the reception section. Reception and criticism aren't always the same thing, but in this case it is the same thing because you're posting reviews. Just be aware that we don't need to quote each and every person that's commented on the book. I also noted that you re-cited several sources. If you have a source you want to use multiple times, use Wikipedia:Cite#Repeated_citations. I might think of more, but that's it for now. Tokyogirl79 (｡◕‿◕｡) 04:59, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
• If it's mentioned in one of the sources then we can re-add it and cite it as such in the article. It's just that you've always got to be so insanely careful because what might seem neutral when writing can come across as non-neutral to others. That's something I've found incredibly frustrating, especially when it comes to reviews. I've had people come and tell me that they thought I was being too promotional, so it's definitely something that's easy to do without noticing.
