I have received some very useful editorial suggestions and have revised my article accordingly. What is the next step? Should I just wait for additional feedback, request feedback or peer-review? I am a bit confused about the proper process. Please advise! Thanks. Lg4 (talk) 14:57, 14 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

I have tried several times to send a message about the criteria for the potential inclusion of a bio, a draft of which Isent along for your evaluation. So far I have received no answer. I am puzzled. Where should I submit such a question/proposal?

Thanks for your kind response. Lg4 (talk) 13:52, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi Lg4, and thanks for your question. Well, the best way to request feedback is to create it, either as an article or in a subpage of your userspace. You can then request the community to review it at the requests for feedback page. Best, PeterSymonds (talk) 13:59, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

More help... edit

Hey, you said you needed more help. I think the article you have written is likely ready for the mainspace! Which is not to say its a particularly good article (I'll be honest, it isn't) however it has enough references to independent sources that it will likely survive the notability test, which means it will likely avoid being deleted. The advantage of being in the article space is that others may happen upon it, and they can work at cleaning it up too; after all that's the idea behind Wikipedia; its strength is in the collaborative nature of it. However, you seem to care a lot about the subject (I will not comment on the obvious connection to your username except to make an oblique reference to Wikipedia's conflict of interest policy, which you should probably read), so you look like you have a lot of interest in cleaning it up as well. If you would like, I will handle moving the article to the main space; its a trivial thing to do (you can just use the move function at the top of the window; don't worry, I'll handle it this time). Some things you may want to read up on as you continue to work on this article:

  • You should probably get to know Wikipedia's Manual of Style, which is full of information on how to format every part of an article to conform to standard Wikipedia style. Its huge, but worth reading and getting to know.
  • The article needs a proper lead section and sectional organization, see WP:LEAD and WP:LAYOUT for more info.
  • The article needs a consistant formatting of the references, see WP:CITE and WP:FN and WP:CITET for help here.

If you need any more help, let me know. I will be moving your article to the main article space under the name Leo Goldberger (if that link is blue, it will have been done already). I will also be deleting your userpage, so you can start fresh again, should you wish to work on a new draft there, or should you wish to create a user information page like I have at my userpage User:Jayron32. You can also create subpages of your userpage to work on drafts, should you choose. See WP:USERPAGE and WP:SUBPAGE for more information. Good luck and good day, and if you need anything, feel free to drop me a note! --Jayron32.talk.contribs 01:59, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I've done all that I am comfortable working on at this point. I still know very little about the subject, and beyond formatting and grammar issues, I am not sure what else I can add. However, there are many many many editors at Wikipedia who could have something to offer. If you would like some additional help in improving the article, you could request feedback at WP:RFF. You could also ask for help from related Wikiprojects, such as Wikipedia:WikiProject Psychology or Wikipedia:WikiProject Biography. There are lists of involved editors there with special interest in the topic of your article. They may be able to help out. Good luck, and if I can give you any more suggestions, please let me know! --Jayron32.talk.contribs 21:34, 13 December 2008 (UTC)Reply
