FiLiA Page edit

Hello, you recently changed edits I made to the FiLiA page. I removed the content in question because it spread misinformation about FiLiA and its purposes as an organization. I have re-done my edits which you can take a look at if you would like to. Junehutter (talk) 17:49, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I understand the language is not to your liking, however I believe it accurately represents the sources in an, albeit mildly inflammatory, way. I think it's a great idea to collaborate on changes to the language to increase neutrality, but selective blanking of things you don't like won't stand. Before you make any further edits, I recommend checking the talk page and discussing it there. I put the talk page on my watchlist and I'll be happy to work with you to better FiLiA's article and Wikipedia as a whole. Leopardg (talk) 18:35, 5 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

I think the fact that inflammatory language is used jeopardizes the reliability of the article. FiLiA is not an anti transgender organization, it is a feminist organization. It is fine to write that the organization has been accused of promoting anti transgender ideas, however that is not the same as the purpose of the organization being to fight against transgender activism. Therefore I think the page should be rephrased using more neutral language. Additionally, I added information about activists threatening to burn down FiLiA venues which you removed. That information is relevant, should be included on the page and should not be censored. And, saying that FiLiA is known for having anti transgender views is not necessarily true. To many it is known for being a large grassroots feminist organization. Once again discussing the fact that it has been accused by many of being anti trans should be included on the page, but saying it is an anti transgender organization is untrue. Hence my edits. FiLiA Talk Page
Please refrain from using my talk page to discuss edits on an article. Leopardg (talk) 14:42, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Where else would you suggest I do so? You invited me to respond to your edits. Junehutter (talk) 15:08, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

On the designated talk page that I linked to above. You can discuss edits I made on my page, but general edits to an article should be discussed on that article's talk page to centralize the discussion. Here's the link to the talk page in question:FiLiA Talk Page Leopardg (talk) 15:12, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
Got it, my apologies for the confusion. Junehutter (talk) 23:13, 6 January 2023 (UTC)Reply
