Proposed deletion of Christopher Heath Wellman edit

The article Christopher Heath Wellman has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No indication who this person is, what they do, why they are notable, beyond the fact that they have coauthored one book which is only referenced on its publisher's website. Not a useful encyclopedia article.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. • Hi! I'm your content expert for the course. I've expanded the article with some content from the German Wikipedia page, however it still is in dire need of sourcing to establish how Wellman is notable per Wikipedia's guidelines. This is most easily established by showing where he and/or his work has received coverage in independent and reliable sources, like news or journal articles and reviews. You can also see if he passes WP:NPROF, but this is a fairly difficult guideline to pass as a whole. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 05:54, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply
  • I also need to stress that you should not create live articles that are incomplete and/or do not have proper sourcing. As soon as something goes live it runs the risk of getting nominated for deletion and in some cases can be deleted very quickly. Make sure that you are very careful about what you post and where, as this does seem like it's more of a note you wrote to yourself. Shalor (Wiki Ed) (talk) 09:26, 28 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Christopher Heath Wellman edit

The article Christopher Heath Wellman has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. » Shadowowl | talk 15:56, 9 August 2018 (UTC)Reply
