Welcome!

Hello, LeaderMgmt, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, like Anthony F. Smith, may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines for page creation, and may soon be deleted.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. i am unsure of what needs to change to conform. All information provided on this individual is accurate. I referenced other "like" individuals in drafting this wiki entry. will be adding others --- your input would be appreciated. this is not an advertisement -- so it would be helpful to know how you want this edited or what words you are feeling are not eligible. author. speaker. leading management consultant. i'm not sure what words to take out, what words you need in or how you need it recrafted. i thought i provided all the sources of reference for credibility on the viability of the individual. would appreciate any "specific" input on what needs to change.(LeaderMgmt (talk) 02:51, 24 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

Before commenting at the AFD debate, you may want to read our policies on WP:BIO, WP:Reliable sources and conflict of interest. OhNoitsJamie Talk 03:07, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

Reliable sources -- i've provided reliable articles and references with dates of publications... what else do u need? why u feel he is not notable. (LeaderMgmt (talk) 03:36, 24 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

Notability edit

Before creating further articles about non-notable subjects, please familiarize yourself with our policies on WP:Notability. OhNoitsJamie Talk 04:03, 24 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

i did read the notability section and he fits from an academic, business and author standpoint. what am i missing? how would you write it differently his peers are marshall goldsmith, ken blanchard, marcus buckingham... and the like what have i not included (LeaderMgmt (talk) 18:25, 24 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

hello jamie... still trying to understand. would appreciate your sage input. thank you. (LeaderMgmt (talk) 04:46, 25 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

Wikipedia is not a marketing vehicle. If you don't understand why the articles don't meet the criteria, then you haven't read the policies clearly enough. The policies are written so I don't have to explain this to every single user who comes here trying to get web exposure for themselves or clients. OhNoitsJamie Talk 05:32, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

wikipedia is an information vehicle. i apologize for the inconvenience. i have requested another editor who can assist me. (LeaderMgmt (talk) 06:28, 25 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

The article which was deleted (in addition to being poorly edited, with inappropriate capitalization, etc.) reeks of promotion, with peacock words abounding. I cannot help but suspect that there may also be a conflict of interest involved, given your username. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:36, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

March 2009 edit

Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Anthology (San Diego Music Venue). While objective prose about products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Thank you. --Orange Mike | Talk 14:47, 25 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

consulting an editor to assist in reformatting to standards for resubmission. (LeaderMgmt (talk) 02:02, 30 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

You can't keep asking different editors until you get the answer you want. Wikipedia is not a free marketing tool. Period. OhNoitsJamie Talk 02:07, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

contributions were made in good faith to contribute these articles. writing style & content has been at dispute. after reading thru the number of pages within wikipedia which were referenced to assist me in understanding what is not an acceptable standard for wikipedia - i did request assistance of someone who wants to help and has experience in meeting the article submission criteria and writing standards. only efforts are about trying to contribute properly. (LeaderMgmt (talk) 02:41, 30 March 2009 (UTC))Reply

Good faith or not, you don't seem to understand our notability guidelines and conflict of interest policy. OhNoitsJamie Talk 02:50, 30 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

i'm doing my best to understand and comply. (LeaderMgmt (talk) 03:09, 30 March 2009 (UTC))Reply
