- Well, site policy does require us to have some sort of published source for details like that, so that others can check for themselves. I hope you understand why that would be important on a website anyone can edit. (I'm not even sure how much information the morgue would be able to give to a random person like me.)
- All we'd really need would be a short death notice, or something like that, although I think Jackson does deserve a more substantial obituary. He was a captain on a major NCAA basketball team, and he even ran for public office at one point [1], so I'm sure there are many in Utah (at least) who would want to know what happened.
