Many thanks?! edit

Wow. At first I wondered if your finger had gotten stuck on the heart button. But, hey, I can use all the encouragement I get. Thanks. ~ J. Johnson (JJ) (talk) 23:13, 31 March 2014 (UTC)Reply

Homosexual behavior in animals edit

I've reverted you. Before making an edit like this, you should open the cited article and read it. Just because the title doesn't mention something, doesn't mean the article doesn't include other information. In addition, that reference is used in a dozen or so places throughout the article, and removing it broke the citations. If it really should have been removed from that statement, you should have found another place to put it. - UtherSRG (talk) 19:23, 20 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the update. I do see a mention in the intro but it also doesn't reference a work by Aristole. I think a better reference is this one from the Oxford Academic Zoological Journal article referencing (Pliny, transl. Rackham, 1947, Vol. 3: 399; Aristotle, transl. Peck, 1970, Vol. 2: 233; see also: Aelian, transl. Wilson, 1997: 37)
