Capitalization in article titles edit

Please be aware that titles in Wikipedia are capitalized in sentence case, not title case; "Rolled Ice Cream" is incorrect, and "Rolled ice cream" is the appropriate capitalization. Please see WP:TITLEFORMAT. I'm not likely to be available for the rest of the day and advise you to go to WP:TEAHOUSE with any questions. Thanks. - Julietdeltalima (talk) 19:46, 10 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

September 2018 edit

  Please do not move a page to a title that is harder to follow, or move it unilaterally against naming conventions or consensus, as you did to Stir-fried ice cream. This includes making page moves while a discussion remains underway. We have some guidelines to help with deciding what title is best for a subject. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Thank you.  Velella  Velella Talk   21:27, 10 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Latte2424. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Julietdeltalima (talk) 20:23, 11 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

English language variants edit

Please do not change the dialect of English as you did at Stir-fried ice cream. Wikipedia accepts all accepted varieties of English and an article in one dialect should remain consistent throughout the article and the choice of dialect should be honoured by subsequent editors. Please see WP:ENGVAR for more advice. Please also do not change the lede of an article so that it no longer follows the article title. Your changes have been reverted. Any future similar changes may be regarded as tendentious editing and vandalism and may lead to your editing rights being revoked.  Velella  Velella Talk   21:38, 12 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
