Cibao International Airport edit

Please do not move the unreferenced tag to the bottom of the Cibao International Airport again. As per WP:TC, all tags for clean up go at the top of the article or section they refer to, not the bottom. Collectonian 22:25, 1 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

This image has been deleted for being blatant copyright infringement. Do not upload images as your own work unless you have, in fact, created the images or taken the photographs yourself. This puts Wikipedia at risk. LaraLove 12:43, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image:SCXlog.JPG and Image:AALlog.JPG have also been deleted. These are copyrighted logos, not your own work. They were also not used in any articles. Please do not claim work of others as your own. If you have uploaded other images that were not created or photographed by you, please make the necessary changes to the image description page giving credit where credit is due and properly tagging with the right copyright tags. Thank you. LaraLove 13:06, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply
This image was watermarked with a commercial website, airliners.net. If you upload any other copyrighted images as your own work, as you did with this one and the logos, you'll be blocked. LaraLove 22:34, 16 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Air Dominicana destinations edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Air Dominicana destinations, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process. All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. NowCommons: File:COA-772.JPG edit

File:COA-772.JPG is now available on Wikimedia Commons as Commons:File:COA-772.JPG. This is a repository of free media that can be used on all Wikimedia wikis. The image will be deleted from Wikipedia, but this doesn't mean it can't be used anymore. You can embed an image uploaded to Commons like you would an image uploaded to Wikipedia, in this case: [[File:COA-772.JPG]]. Note that this is an automated message to inform you about the move. This bot did not copy the image itself. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 05:22, 7 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Nomination of Air Ambar for deletion edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Air Ambar, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Air Ambar until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article.

File permission problem with File:AAL-B738.JPG edit

Thanks for uploading File:AAL-B738.JPG, which you've sourced to Luis Sanchez. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.

If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sreejith K (talk) 12:13, 29 August 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Orphaned non-free image File:Pan Am World Airways Dominicana (logo).jpg edit

The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 18:02, 10 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
