Kuruba edit

Hi, can you please stop inserting entries into the Notable People section of Kuruba unless you provide a reliable source that shows they are or were Kuruba. If the person is still alive, the source needs to show them self-identifying as belonging to the community. The information at User:Sitush/Common#Castelists may be useful to you. B K Parthasarathi moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, B K Parthasarathi, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Speedy deletion nomination of Vasikeri Gopinath edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Vasikeri Gopinath requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Your contributed article, Malagundla Shankaranarayana edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Malagundla Shankaranarayana. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Malagundla Sankaranarayana. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Malagundla Sankaranarayana. If you have new information to add, you might want to discuss it at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Lapablo (talk) 10:07, 23 June 2019 (UTC)Reply

A tag has been placed on Niranjanananda puri, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

Ways to improve Bindhushree edit

Hello, Kuruba suresh,

Thank you for creating Bindhushree.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

From a WP:GNG perspective, the coverage in the News Bugz and Chitrasanthe sources is significant, but i'm unsure about the reliability of those sources. Typically i'd expect a notable entertainment professional to feature in some way in regional papers or major dailies, the names of those i am aware of.

The sequex source is suffering from linkrot.

I've assessed the articles' subject against WP:NACTOR. She doesn't appear to have had a significant role in multiple notable films. So would fail that criteria.

The prose is neutral and is verifiable back to the sources, so i'm not particularly worried about it staying in mainspace while i look into this subject.

The article is well-written and there is good use of inline citations. Unfortunately i feel the subject may be a case of WP:TOOSOON.

Feel free to improve the article in the meantime. I'm going to look into the notability further. Leave a message on my talk page, or ping me, if you have any questions. Kind regards, Zindor (talk) 20:40, 24 August 2020 (UTC)

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Zindor}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

Deletion nomination of Bindhushree edit

I've nominated the article you created for deletion, by means of AfD, as it doesn't meet Wikipedia notability guidelines. The nomination is here; please get involved in the discussion if you disagree with the deletion nomination. Zindor (talk) 23:32, 24 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sir I have inserted 7 citations for proof of the subject. Then why you are proposing this page for deletion. I think minimum 1 citation is enough to create Wikipedia page..Kuruba suresh (talk) 09:24, 27 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
While you did provide citations, and many of them, the sources weren't reliable sources, which is important. We have various criteria for inclusion on Wikipedia. In this case either WP:NACTOR or WP:GNG apply. I suggest submitting articles through the WP:AFC program, as they can help you with creating articles. If you'd like to talk further, please post on my talk page, as it was only by chance i saw your question here. Thank you for creating content on Wikipedia. June 2022 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, articles should not be moved without good reason. They should have a name that is both accurate and intuitive. Wikipedia has some guidelines in place to help with this. Generally, a page should only be moved to a new title if the current name doesn't follow these guidelines. Also, if a page move is being discussed, consensus needs to be reached before anybody moves the page. If you would like to experiment with page titles and moving, please use the test Wikipedia. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. — DaxServer (t · m · c) 09:54, 13 June 2022 (UTC)Reply

January 2023 edit

Hello, I'm DaxServer. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Talk:Yathindra Siddaramaiah, but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you! — DaxServer (t · m · c) 18:28, 1 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

February 2024 edit

Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion pages, as you did with Vinay Kumar G.B. Doing so won't stop the discussion from taking place. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the appropriate page. Thank you.
