February 2024 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for advertising or promotion.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Bbb23 (talk) 15:58, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
you claim: that my account was used for advertising or promotion purposes purposes. Is it a joke? I don't understand where it was used for advertising. provide me with all the facts of my violation of the policies, based on which I am blocked. in the meantime, I believe that your actions are illegal Kopanishyn (talk) 16:19, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Your reason here: I don’t understand the reason for blocking my account: I didn’t break any rules anywhere, I behaved correctly in accordance with the policies. I don’t understand why I should appeal in principle? It seems to me that my freedom of speech is being limited and I would like to know the exact reason for blocking my account.

Decline reason:

The action of blocking you is not illegal - we have the right to block users from this site. You do not have freedom of speech here - this is a private website and we can delete pages and block users without infringing your rights. In order for you to be unblocked, you need to say what edits you want to make. You should carefully read the feedback you have been given on this page, and not try to repeat your mistakes. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

(Non-administrator comment) Please be careful with words like 'illegal'; anything that could be construed as a legal threat will not help your case, quite the opposite, in fact. -- DoubleGrazing (talk) 16:26, 12 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Good afternoon. let's try again. I haven’t been on Wikipedia for a long time and perhaps I didn’t speak quite clearly

I don’t want to offend anyone and respect all administrators and users of this site
but I also respect myself. and when my account is blocked after trying to publish an article about a man who fought for Ukraine during the Russian invasion, it bothers me. It’s not the fact of blocking that worries me - if I really broke something, I would still understand and fix it. But I am confused with the purposes.
https://monosnap.com/file/o2FboHV5uyVNhlOxnyRUMyOdqdEy2s
I don’t understand what I’m being accused of and how to fix it.
Once again I ask you to make a specific reference to where this advertisement was.
The chronology of events is as follows:
1. I wrote a draft of the article, which I submitted for consideration for further publication;
2. The draft was rejected due to lack of resources. I would clarify again what resources are missing - I have already used everything that is in electronic form. and the same articles in Russian and Ukrainian languages were successfully moderated;
3. I apparently mistakenly sent the draft again without edits;
4. After that my account was blocked. argument - advertising.
Am I the only one who doesn’t see the logic in all this? Kopanishyn (talk) 12:38, 13 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You have sources that document his death and he earned a military decoration- but any article about this soldier must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage say about him and his life. Government decrees and documents are primary sources. There are more appropriate forums to honor and document soldiers who have fought and died for Ukraine; Wikipedia is not for that purpose. It's possible that the Ukrainian Wikipedia may have different rules about what is acceptable, and that this may be acceptable there, but it isn't here. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:48, 14 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
