I am still learning the procedures, if I violated any rules, it was an honest mistake and error. Please point exactly what you are reffering to, so I will know what not to repeat. Thanks. Koltorah (talk) 16:42, 31 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Mordecai Tendler edit

Hi, I wish you wouldn't insert all that bloat, there is no consensus for it. I see you have commented at the seven day deletion discussion in regard to the article - you also need to add there either - keep - or delete. Please take it easy adding that content and reverting as your editing privileges can be restricted, regards. Off2riorob (talk) 22:15, 1 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you - I see it now - if your addition to the article is reverted out again - please do not replace it again - the article will be gone completely soon enough. Regards. Off2riorob (talk) 22:18, 1 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Mediation Cabal: Case update edit

Dear Koltorah: Hi there! I'd like to let you know that in a Mediation Cabal mediation case that you are involved in, or have some connection with:

Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal/Cases/2011-03-31/Mordecai Tendler

I've made the following changes:

The case has been opened and I've assigned myself as mediator, and made some initial comments. We're still waiting for word from Avraham (talk · contribs) as to whether they'd like to participate.

Please have a look at the mediation case page linked to above, and participate in the current stage of the mediation process if you wish. Of course, participation is completely optional, and if you don't want to take part in this mediation at any point, that's totally fine. If you have any questions or concerns relating to this dispute, the mediation, or the Mediation Cabal in general, please do let me know. Thank you very much. Best regards, NicholasTurnbull | (talk) 18:11, 3 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Should I assume that User: Avraham has refused your offer to mediate the "Mordecai Tendler" article? Perhaps record the responses (or lack of) that you received, on the mediation page? Koltorah (talk) 18:07, 5 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I've received no response whatsoever from Avraham (talk · contribs). Unfortunately, it does seem that Avraham has failed to indicate acceptance of mediation within a reasonable timeframe. I hope, therefore, you won't mind me closing the case. If at a future time Avraham does wish to enter mediation with you and there continues to be a dispute that you'd like our help with, feel free to file another request. I hope you'll let me know if there's anything I can do for you. --NicholasTurnbull | (talk) 18:11, 5 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
In fact, there was a response on the user's talk page that I didn't see, which is an explicit refusal of mediation. --NicholasTurnbull | (talk) 18:13, 5 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate your kind attention, and only request that you record what Avraham's response was to your attempt to mediate. That way if any future action is needed, there will be a clear record as to the history. Thanks again. Koltorah (talk) 21:16, 5 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

There is no need for a separate record. Every edit to wikipedia is kept, and over 99% of them can be pulled by any and everyone. So, a record of the medcabal request (as well as the wikiquette, bio board, other forum shopping, your being informed more than once about improper use of wiki processes, edits to article talk pages, block records, etc. {for example see [1]}) will be accessible if it is necessary in the future. -- Avi (talk) 15:57, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Avi, your hostile tone is noted and not appreciated. It is very revealing that the record shows your refused attempt to mediation. Koltorah (talk) 21:37, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please read why I declined. Mediation was not warranted in this case. You had not used talk pages to discuss the issues and instead made wholesale unsupported changes without proper regard for process, discussion, or sourcing; you reverted multiple, independent people—namely engaged in edit warring—to force your view in contradistinction to wikipedia policy and practice; you "forum shopped" (canvassed, spammed, etc.) to try and force your view on the page; you immediately assumed bad faith (pointed out to you a number of times by different people) about reasons for various edits instead of trying to work with editors; I can go on. You are, by your edit history, a single-purpose account whose goal was to edit to impose a particular point of view and not to work within the rules of the project. In summary, I am afraid, sadly, that you are a classic example of כל הפוסל במומו פוסל. In conclusion, whilst I concur that Tendler does not have enough inherent notability to warrant an article in wikipedia, which is why I opined delete in the AfD, that is no excuse for blatantly disregarding the very rules and policies we agree to abide by when we are given the privilege to edit. -- Avi (talk) 22:42, 6 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
Whilst I do not take sides in this dispute, please do not encode personal attacks in foreign languages, Avi. Both of you appear to have a discussion culture of mutual disrespect. I would like remind both of you of WP:CIVIL. --NicholasTurnbull | (talk) 21:30, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Avi, regardless of your impressive ability to weave half-truths with lies- the record preserves a history that contradicts your claims. I understand that you having the clear bias that caused the problems in the article in the first place, are bothered by the fact that somone called you out on it. However, being bothered does not give you an excuse to come on this page to write a story of utter fiction. The most telling act where you showed your true colors, was when you responded to the mediator with the same hostility that you showed me- when I attempted dialogue and discussion. Koltorah (talk) 02:21, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thankfully, everything you or I have ever written on wikipedia can be read, so a third party will be able to judge for themselves. -- Avi (talk) 12:15, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply

Agreed. It's a real shame that someone with such an impressive Wikipedia record such as yourself, to behave in such a hostile and unbecoming way- due to some seemingly personal bias regarding a specific article. Koltorah (talk) 20:38, 8 April 2011 (UTC)Reply
