Pokémon edit

Pokémon the franchise's most consistent feature is the Pokémon creatures, yes. In my mind, that doesn't somehow make Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Squirtle (whether their species or the ones Ash befriends) respectively the protagonist/deuteragonist/tritagonist in the anime TV show (nor the specific episodes of the show up to Squirtle's departure in "The Fire-ing Squad!"). The show where the humans prominently and repeatedly challenge gyms, contests, showcases, and various villains with the help of their Pokémon friends. I don't see an issue with stating that the premise of the Indigo League series is centred on the person carrying the badges, even if the franchise's mascot Pikachu could maybe be counted as the TV series' deuteragonist right after Ash. (If this is a reference to my edit today on List of Pokémon anime characters and not this edit on the Indigo League list, then I'd have thought that from context it clearly means on TV. Either way I'll tweak it somewhat.) TardisTybort (talk) 16:13, 17 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Pokémon are also the eponymous characters of their franchise, making them the main protagonists and antagonists of the franchise. Kof4456 (talk) 10:07, 22 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
