Hey Kirstie, I'm just linking you to my user page: User talk:Krhatley so you can look at the articles I found interesting. Thanks! Krhatley (talk) 22:50, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hey, I am linking you to my page: --Kittybug (talk) 00:57, 27 September 2011 (UTC) so you can look at the articles I posted. As I said on my page, those are just temporary and will be replaced by more efficient article to work with.Reply

Feedback on Week 4 Assignment edit

Hi Kirstie, Quick reminder about the differences between user page and talk pages. Any time you are wanting to communicate with others use their talk page (in a couple of cases you posted a message and link to your user page with topics on your group member's user pages vs. talk pages). Any time you are wanting to document your progress on the Wikipedia article you should post this to your user page (I went ahead and cut and pasted from your talk to user page). In terms of topics, it appears as if anger management would be a good option, assuming that you find enough in the literature that would support decent expansion (so this is something you and your group will want to check on). Military psychiatry is a fairly broad topic with not too much information but it might be challenging to develop given its breadth? You also might want to check out military psychology which might be a bit more relevant but might present similar challenges. PTSD is definitely too well-developed already to consider it as a choice. That being said, developing an article related to PTSD but a sub-topic would be appropriate. For example expanding on a treatment or preventive technique (e.g., Debriefing).Tatompki (talk) 20:03, 22 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Feedback - Week 5 Assignments edit

Excellent work! You are really getting the hang of editing (including providing constructive suggestions on the talk page along with edit summaries), linking and referencing. You have earned full points for this assignment but I encourage you to look again at what is meant by reliable sources (i.e., when you write your article you will want to rely almost exclusively on peer-reviewed, published literature which can be found on the library website using EBSCOhost and/or PsycINFO). Hopefully your group is getting a bit closer to narrowing down to your topic? Let me know if you need any help! Tatompki (talk) 05:11, 29 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Feedback on Topic edit

Just received your message regarding the talk page. It appears as if there is another group of students this term actively beginning to edit this same page which presents a problem in terms of evaluating your contributions to the article. That being said, one of the unique aspects of working on Wikipedia is that it is an open environment and does invite others to collaborate and improve your contributions (i.e., you or I can't simply tell someone who wants to edit or contribute to not do so although this is one reason for having the disclaimer box about it being an educational assignment). You might want to reach out to the group that has selected this same topic to let them know that you have as well (and to talk to your group about this as well) and to see how you would like to proceed (i.e., do they want to find a way to collaborate; if not, how should you decide who sticks with it and who should look for another topic). Bummer! Hope this doesn't lead you to have to re-select a topic. If it does we can certainly provide an extension for this week's assignment.Tatompki (talk) 18:47, 12 October 2011 (UTC)Reply

Note edit

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that I did some editing on our page, I left a note on the talk page. I also changed Bipolar II to Bipolar I in the last sentence of your first paragraph because I thought that's what you meant. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Krhatley (talk) 00:19, 3 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

Thank you too! Especially for being super helpful and easy to reach. Let me know if you need help with anything. Krhatley (talk) 06:45, 5 December 2011 (UTC)Reply
