Hello, how do you do? I saw your tag for deletion of Sheila Sri Prakash. I do not think it is appropriate to delete the article and your action of replacing the tag, despite another editor removing it, is against Wikipedia policy. I would urge you to reconsider your request for deletion and continue to refine the article. It may also be a good idea if you disclose any conflict of interest with the subject. @Ellazinko:, I have no conflict of interest. Do you? I am only ensuring that promotional content about architects is not allowed on wikipedia per wikipedia policy. Kintomechanic (talk) 06:05, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Kintomechanic (talk) I do not have any WP:COI but I am an academician and researcher having lived all over Asia. I have been studying women in architecture. Sheila Sri Prakash has definitely been a subject of my study. I would like to present references to publications by the Indian Institute of Architects itself,[1] which states that she is the first woman in India to have started her own architectural firm. On what basis are you claiming that she is lying? If you are a retired woman architect as you say here should you not stand for successful women in your field, as acknowledged by the professional institute in your country? This has also been stated by several news articles numerous times, although I have never seen any place or interview where the architect herself has claimed so, in her own words. Why are you trying to undermine the reputation of a successful woman in our field, which already is filled with bias against women? Ellazinko (talk) 06:28, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Ellazinko: Thanks for linking me to the indian institute of architects newsletter. I had not seen that before. I also see that another user has removed the WP:PROD tag. I guess you have made your point and have won. Perhaps we can collaborate on other topics of architecture in the future. Kintomechanic (talk) 10:19, 20 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi Kintomechanic (talk), I have been trying to refine Sheila Sri Prakash by addressing the issues that you have mentioned. Can you please let me know if there is any other way we can improve the language to remove promotional language and unreliable sources? Thank you, OrangeFig52 (talk) 05:59, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

@OrangeFig52: There is no need to refine. Such article should be deleted. Please proceed with any arguments on article talk page. Kintomechanic (talk) 06:08, 19 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
