User:Kim Traynor/Fred → Younger's – I have created an article on Younger's (as a companion article to McEwan's), but am receiving the message that the page already exists. I have deleted the redirect, but I believe I have to ask an administrator to finalise this move. Another redirect for William Younger I should be changed. Also, his numeral, which makes sense in the article, should be removed from the disambiguation entry where it appears a rather peculiar designation. After all, he was not known by that name. - Oppose this article conflates the family and the brewery. The family should be in a family article, not the brewery article. You should divide this page in two, separating family and brewery. 70.24.251.208 (talk) 03:30, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
- That's a shame. The history of the family does not exist separately from the development of the family firm, because they are unimportant without it. To separate them, which I don't think could be done very successfully, would produce two inferior articles. Can't be helped, I suppose. Kim Traynor 09:24, 29 May 2012 (UTC)
