Welcome! edit

Hello, Kim Seon Woo, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I notice that one of the first articles you created was Kim Seon Woo, which appears to be an article about yourself. This is a common mistake made by new Wikipedians—as this is an encyclopedia, we wouldn't expect to have an article about every contributor. Your user page, however, is a great place to write about yourself, making sure to stay within user page guidelines. Just click your user name at the top of the screen when you are logged in, and edit it normally.

The page you created about yourself may well be deleted from the encyclopedia. If it is deleted and you wish to retrieve its contents, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! August 2016 edit

  Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed maintenance templates from Kim Seo Woo. When removing maintenance templates, please be sure to either resolve the problem that the template refers to, or give a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, as your removal of this template has been reverted. Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Kim Seon Woo. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places, or things you have written about in the article Kim Sun-Woo (footballer, born 1993), you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic, and it is important when editing Wikipedia articles that such connections be completely transparent. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. In particular, we ask that you please:

  • avoid editing or creating articles related to you and your family, friends, school, company, club, or organization, as well as any competing companies' projects or products;
  • instead, you are encouraged to propose changes on the Talk pages of affected article(s) (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • when discussing affected articles, disclose your COI (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or to the website of your organization in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • exercise great caution so that you do not violate Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Please take a few moments to read and review Wikipedia's policies regarding conflicts of interest, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, sourcing and autobiographies. Thank you. Sir Sputnik (talk) 15:45, 3 August 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi [User:Sir Sputnik|Sir Sputnik]] , I am new with creating wiki page so I created this page for a football player from South Korea Kim Sun-Woo as he does not have a wiki page earlier. He is a potential player from South Korea. I registered this account using his name but i think I made a mistake on the spelling. But I have checked the references well and his name is Kim Sun-Woo. Personally, I do not have any interest in whatsoever. Thanks. (Kim Seon Woo (talk) 19:02, 3 August 2016 (UTC))Reply
