Speedy deletion nomination of Malik Kamran Iqbal

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Malik Kamran Iqbal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Amartyabag TALK2ME 14:31, 7 February 2012 (UTC)Reply

CPU cache? Page cache? Web cache? Some other type of cache?

edit

Cache (computing) talks about CPU caches, page caches, Web caches, database caches, and so on. "Distributed" doesn't say what's being cached, it says how it's being cached; what is cached by the distributed caches listed on the distributed cache page?

Alachisoft

edit

Hello. I've deleted the article because it didn't explain why the company was important or significant. If you think the company's software is important, please write articles about its products. Making notable products does not necessarily make a company notable. — Malik Shabazz Talk/Stalk 14:55, 20 April 2012 (UTC)Reply

Spamming how?

edit

(talk) , Ok I read the SPAM and other articles.I understand now that the "External Links" that I added in various pages is SPAM according to Wikipedia. Now, kindly tell me the reason the deletion of NCache page because there no promotion there except mere statement of the facts.I tried my best not to say anything biased like "best product around" etc. That page was of 2 lines so that people at least know what NCache (product) is like many other products on wikipedia. Kindly help me here so that I don't commit the same mistake here.

Orphaned non-free media (File:NCache.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:NCache.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Hazard-Bot (talk) 04:13, 19 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

It has become apparent that your account is only being used for self-promotion, so it has been blocked indefinitely. Wikipedia is NOT a "vehicle for advertising".
