Gurjar POV pushing edit

You are simply not learning, are you? Your recent edit at Chauhan is yet another attempt by you to promote pro-Gurjar claims that simply are not present in the sources. I've had enough of your disruptive editing over a prolonged period of time and a range of articles. Before you make any further such contributions, please take note of the information below. - Sitush (talk) 19:51, 16 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

The Wikipedia community has permitted administrators to impose discretionary sanctions on any editor who is active on any page about social groups, explicitly including caste associations and political parties, related to India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal. Discretionary sanctions can be used against an editor who repeatedly or seriously fails to adhere to the purpose of Wikipedia, any expected standards of behavior, or any normal editorial process. If you engage in further inappropriate behavior in this area, you may be placed under sanctions, which can include blocks, a revert limitation, or an article ban. The discussion leading to the imposition of these sanctions can be read here.

Please familiarise yourself with the information page at Wikipedia:General sanctions/South Asian social groups.

Please see my response to your recent message on the talk page of that article. - Sitush (talk) 21:09, 18 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

July 2014 edit

Hi, Kggochar. I've tried to understand your references at Chauhan, but I'm afraid I find it impossible. The way you've linked to a search for "how+gurjar+became+rajput" simply gives a lot of random pages where the words "gurjar" and "rajput" are highlighted. (The search software will usually ignore "how" and "became" because they're very common words.) Quite useless. You don't have to provide a formally correct footnote, people can help with the formatting, and also move your contribution into the actual article text (as opposed to after the "See also" section); such problems are minor, and we're here to help each other. But you simply must provide a) author name, b) book name, c) page number for where the material you want to cite is. Without that, I for one can't take stock of your source to decide if it's reliable. Sitush, who is familiar with writings in this field, apparently can, and he has told you on the talkpage, as well as above on this page, that those are either not reliable sources, or else they don't support your assertions. If you edit Chauhan again without providing the basic citation information I ask for, and/or without providing a reliable source, I'm afraid I'll have to block you from editing, per the general sanctions warning above. Please leave the article alone for now and engage with Sitush on article talk, so that you may come to an understanding about what sources are allowable. Recent edit to Kiradu temples edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Kiradu temples, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you!
