July 2018 edit

Hello, I'm The Banner. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Comparison of photogrammetry software have been undone because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted; Wikipedia articles should be written objectively, using independent sources, and from a neutral perspective. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. It states clearly in the article that all programs must have their OWN article. The Banner talk 09:34, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

I hope its the right way to reply. I disagree with your opinion and would like to dispute that. Theres nothing wrong with having a factual list article or not, i dont see how factual information such as softwares abilities, pricing or type can be considered as promotional material. Links can be removed and the list should be refined but having all the softwares is crucial in my opinion. I would like draw attention to this from another editors and i am not sure how to do that. Can you do that?

I have seen that and added some info. But the point is that a red link point to a non-existing article. And it is stated in the article that programs need an existing article on their own to get a listing. The Banner talk 09:52, 16 July 2018 (UTC)Reply
