April 2024 edit

Wikipedia is not a web host for holding web pages unrelated to work on building the encyclopaedia. You are, of course, very welcome to start making contributions to the encyclopaedia, in line with Wikipedia policies and guidelines, if you are interested in doing so, but if you wish to have a web space for your own use, for off-wiki purposes, then there are many web sites which provide that sort of service, but Wikipedia is not one of them. Hello JBW. I received your message regarding your deletion of my user page, and understand your rationale. You were fully within your rights to delete my content.

I will refrain from using Wikipedia per your instruction. I must be vulnerable here, JB –– I am quite disappointed that you would delete my content, but understand it must be done per the guidelines you have to follow.

I have one request, albeit a massive one. Is there a way to recover the content that was on my page before deleting it? If possible, I would appreciate it and be forever indebted to you.

I hope you have a great rest of your day, and I wish you the best of luck in the future. Get back to me when you can. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kenzofiend (talkcontribs) 22:41, 17 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have restored the page so that you can retrieve the content of it. Please let me know when you have done so, but if I don't hear from you in a while I may decide to assume you've had time to do it. JBW (talk) 14:26, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for restoring the page. I appreciate your grace.
I have copied the content over to an off-site document, and will refrain from using the same page for my school project.
I wish you luck in all your future endeavors, JBW. Kenzofiend (talk) 17:45, 18 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
