Picture of the Day suggestion edit

Hi Kartin! Thanks for your suggestion at Picture of the Day, September 1st. Unfortunately, only Featured Pictures are able to make it to the Main Page each day. If you'd like to see an image make the Main Page, try nominating it at Featured Picture Candidates. The standards are high though, so fair warning. Living cardinals edit

The list of living cardinals is not a list of the current archbishops of any particular archdiocese. It is list of people who have been created as a cardinal. It doesn’t matter if they have retired from their archdiocese, they are still a cardinal.

Reinhard Marx is the current Archbishop of Munich and Freising, but he has not been created a cardinal, and so he doesn’t belong on the List of living cardinals. Friedrich Wetter is the retired Archbishop of Munich and Freising, but remains as a cardinal, and so he does belong on the list.

You’ve got confused about what the article is about. Regards, Scrivener-uki (talk) 16:45, 26 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

POTD edit

Thank you for your efforts in attempting to schedule the POTD for December 18, 2009. However, the file that you selected, File:Great Wave off Kanagawa2.jpg, actually has already appeared in a different form. This particular image replaced an earlier version of the artwork, File:The Great Wave off Kanagawa.jpg, which appeared as POTD on 2006-11-25, making this new version ineligible, I'm afraid. 2020 Olympics images edit

I noticed that you uploaded the images yourself. May I ask for some proof that the copyright holder has released the images to be used for any purpose? It seems questionable, especially with images like that. Thanks, Onopearls (t/c) 21:00, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your Pritzker Architecture Prize edits edit

Please note the discussion about this summary table here. The consensus is that we don't need it. I can't remove it per WP:3RR but I'd appreciate it if you would respect consensus and remove it yourself, and, if necessary, discuss it further on the talk page before re-adding it.
