Your email edit

There is no need to discuss such matters by email, which should be reserved for issues that require confidentiality. Wikipedia is a project based on transparency, except for very limited circumstances that do not apply here. Please be aware that Wikipedia does not have "profiles". Instead it contains neutrally written encyclopedia articles. It is highly unlikely though not impossible that an uninvolved Wikipedia volunteer will take on the task of writing an article. You should write the article youself and submit it through Articles for creation. You should start by reading and carefully studying Your first article.

I also noticed that you have been editing Vincent Hoisington. The surname indicates that you have a conflict of interest regarding this artist, which you must declare. Please be aware that the Neutral point of view is a core content policy. You cannot say that a person is "renowned" or a "pioneer" unless you provide a reference to a reliable independent source that uses such terminology. I could not help but notice that you seemingly referred to yourself as a well-known award-winning art director, graphic designer, and artist. Please be aware that self-promotion of any kind is strictly forbidden on Wikipedia, so I will revert those edits. Cullen328 (talk) 01:57, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I left the word "pioneer" in because I noticed that reliable sources do use that word. Cullen328 (talk) 02:25, 26 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Dear Cullen
Thank you for taking the time to reply and for the important pointers and terminology. All points noted.
How can I declare to Wiki as a subject expert to avoid conflict of interest?
For the Vincent M. Hoisington page, I chanced on it by accident, and found the article was incomplete. I took it upon myself, as a researcher and author of a definitive book on him, to edit the article. An author/creator who did it did not leave a Wiki contact to suggest additions. But he accepted my additions once the changes were done. I will look through your edits as well. Thank you.
I am in the midst of creating another page as the creator, so I would appreciate where I could inform Wiki that I am the subject expert with the relevant citations.
Warm Regards
