Hi Kaoni, just saw your first submission at Kaoani, thanks for the contribution! Hope you have fun here, and don't worry about learning all of the formatting right away - like you said in your edit summary, it's great to be useful to start with, and if you get addicted you'll learn the syntax as you go anyway. Welcome to Wikipedia! GeorgeBills 16:47, 24 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Kaoani.gif edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Kaoani.gif. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:06, 24 April 2006 (UTC)

Managing a conflict of interest edit

  Hello, Kaoani. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about in the page Ánima Estudios, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your conflict of interest when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:06, 2 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Shared account? edit

Hi, could you elaborate on the term "collaborative improvement" mentioned in the edit summary of Special:Diff/895183758? ~ ToBeFree (talk) 15:08, 2 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I mean it as is my collaboration to this wiki, it took me a long time to order everything by date and merging the same projects together and not jumping in different years, i've helped to improve this page many times for years (not necessarily logged in), but now looks like it's the personal page of Animawiki29 cause anything added by other people is immediatly deleted, i understand we all general wiki fans collaborate adding information but just letting a single person decide he is the only perfect one, looks like he's the one being part of the company not allowing other people to help, he even has been adding things i think should be in the independent pages of the movies, not in the general one of the company, that's too much detailed information that should be apart. If there are some things to be corrected i understand, but i don't think trying to make it cleaner and by date is a bad thing and that's all i'm doing, not adding fake information or hacking anything. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kaoani (talkcontribs) 15:38, 2 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Thank you very much for the clarification.   Regarding the specific edit, I too prefer the version at Special:PermanentLink/895184817 because it seems to be more encyclopedic, not only because of the lead section. The "date first in every sentence" style seems to create a list instead of the natural flow of speech. This does not seem to match the appearance that is expected from Wikipedia articles, as described in our manual of style, specifically the part about paragraphs and line breaks. I do thank you for your work, however, and you may like to propose the new article style at Talk:Ánima Estudios. ~ ToBeFree (talk) 16:05, 2 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
