Flags in infoboxes edit

Please stop putting flags in infoboxes, this is in direct contravention of MOS:INFOBOXFLAG. Canterbury Tail talk 17:35, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Additionally stop linking the word country to List of sovereign states, this is considered an WP:EASTEREGG as it doesn't define the word and is also discouraged. Additionally it's in violation of WP:OVERLINK to link a common English word. Canterbury Tail talk 17:37, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Sorry I'm new I saw it on multiple other pages and thought that was the norm, I apologise for not checking. JustAGunNut (talk) 18:05, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Okay, no worries. We're all new sometime :) Canterbury Tail talk 18:15, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for being so understanding, I have already begun the process of reverting the changes I made.JustAGunNut (talk) 18:16, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

It's also known as WP:FLAGCRUFT. Good luck. ww2censor (talk) 19:32, 28 November 2020 (UTC)Reply

December 2020 edit

You were told with your edit on Jacksonville, Florida to avoid linking the country and US states per MOS:OVERLINK. Please be mindful that any similar Manual of Style-related edits will most likely be considered disruptive editing. – The Grid (talk) 03:09, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding flags into Infoboxes. They are not desired and strongly discouraged. You are already aware of this. Canterbury Tail talk 16:01, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
