Rajni Kaul edit

Hello. I noticed that you attempted to file a deletion discussion (on the article Rajni Kaul) but did not complete the process. Please note that, when listing an article for deletion, a discussion page needs to be made for other users to discuss whether to keep or delete the article. This is typically done by following the steps listed here. Note that if you are editing as an unregistered user, you cannot create a discussion page. Please consider reading the instructions at WP:BEFORE asking another user to help you complete the process at Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion. Thank you. --JFHJr () 17:57, 10 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

I completed the process for you. Cheers! JFHJr () 17:57, 10 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

EdwardGrangerWiki edit

Hello. You have attempted to delete the page Nirav Patel, however this page should not be deleted as this page is extremely important to the people of United Kingdom and the rest of the world as Nirav Patel has done so much in supporting the London 2012 Olympic Torch Relay. This page includes information which enables the county Kent and the rest of the world to be able to find out more information about this extraordinary notable person. Page deletion edit

Generally, Article for deletions are kept for a period of atleast 7 days and then an administrator or another non-participating user in good standing can close the discussion and and then the article is deleted/kept as per the outcome of the discussion. The impugned AfD has been nominated 6 days back, so I guess the discussion will be closed in a day or two. Amartyabag TALK2ME 14:12, 19 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

Pawan Kumar Bharti edit

If you want to nominate this article for deletion you need to follow the three steps here. (Note that the page has been nominated before.) Just putting a template on the article isn't enough by itself. Hut 8.5 10:24, 23 March 2013 (UTC)Reply

AfD edit

Hi, I've just seen your name again at AfD, this time in relation to the Vinod Jose article. From your contribution history, it seems that you are choosing to specialise in AfD matters, which is fine in itself but you seem to be misunderstanding some of our guidelines and you seem to be rushing through nominations at quite a rate. For example:

  • Vinod Jose might fail WP:AUTHOR, as you say, but that guideline is a subset of our general guideline and failing it does not mean the article subject is not notable
  • High schools are deemed to be inherently notable, by a long-standing consensus, so whether you like it or not there is no point in saying speedy delete
  • Following on from that, there is rarely any point in saying "speedy delete" at any AfD - you do it a lot. The process takes a week minimum and only very rarely are exceptions made to this

What really surprises me is that you have taken part in 65 AfDs and not once have you voted to keep - see this. Again, that is your choice and it does generally match the outcomes (84%). However, it can also lead to the impression that someone is "tagging along". I, too, am more of a deletionist than an inclusionist but then again, I do an awful lot of work on content and sourcing and that more than balances things out. You have 157 contributions in total and only 7 of those are to article space (well over 100 are AfD related). Basically, what you do is up to you but please don't be surprised if people start raising eyebrows, especially if that hit rate starts to fall ;) - Sitush (talk) 20:11, 29 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion declined: Vibrant Academy edit

Hello Jussychoulex. I am just letting you know that I declined the speedy deletion of Vibrant Academy, a page you tagged for speedy deletion, because of the following concern: Article has an active AFD at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Vibrant Academy. Thank you. Mkdwtalk 21:43, 7 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

And you again requested for speedy deletion after 7 days. Such repeated behaviour will be considered as vandalism. §§Dharmadhyaksha§§ {T/C} 08:55, 14 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Uday Sahay - discussion for deletion edit

The nominator's recommendation for deletion, for reasons undisclosed, appears to be arising out of his bias against police officers. However relevant or irrelevant that may be to the present discussion, his remarks against presence of Uday Sahay in wikipedia smacks of this bias as it reads, "non notable mid level retired police officer, vanity page." It seems that nominator's understanding of Uday Sahay public career freezes at 2001 (When Sahay got out of policing job), and he fails to see what all turns and twists Uday Sahay's career trajectory took there after.

The fact remains that today Uday Sahay is a known author (edited 3 books, including one by Oxford University Press)and a communication professional in India. He is the only IPS officer in India who has led the Communications verticals of a state (Delhi) government and of the biggest sporting event ever held in India - the Organising Committee of Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi. He is today communication adviser to several distinguished academic and public organizations in India, including Unique Identification Authority of India. If you google search Uday Sahay's digital media presence and his publi persona, you will be able to sense whether opinion given to delete Uday Sahay's entry in wikipedia is an informed one.
