edit

Hi there. I noticed the edit request you recently reopened and the question you asked at the Help Desk regarding proposed changes to the BurgerFi article. I see that you've disclosed a conflict of interest as a member of the BurgerFi marketing team.

Given what you noted at the Help Desk about carrying out this task upon request from your team at BurgerFi, it sounded like you might be receiving, or expecting to receive, compensation for this contribution. If that is the case, please be aware that the Wikimedia Foundation Terms of Use require you to specifically disclose your paid editing status, including your employer and client. You can modify your user page to use Template:Paid to do so if needed. (If you aren't receiving compensation and just happen to have a COI due to your association with BurgerFi, no additional action is needed.)

I also wanted to let you know that I temporarily reverted your changes to the edit request since you reopened and overwrote parts of the previous edit request from more than a year ago. It's best practice not to edit past talk page sections in a way that changes their meaning, so that history can be preserved. That being said, feel free to open a new COI request at any time with the edit request wizard. You can include the updated information regarding the company there so that the article can be edited, if appropriate.

Thanks for your cooperation, and please let me know if you have any other questions. PlanetJuice (talkcontribs) 02:33, 3 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
