For a May 2005 deletion debate over this page see Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/List of interesting Google Maps satellite images

For some reason Thorpe moved this page back to its original article space, I reverted it back to here.--The_stuart 23:30, 18 Jun 2005 (UTC)

Credits edit

  • Do the original contributors still get credit for adding all these on the original page? -- Riffsyphon1024 16:35, Jun 22, 2005 (UTC)
    • Hadn't really thought of that. I don't know. If you added some of the images and want to put your name in, go right ahead - I have no objection. -Joshuapaquin 04:19, Jun 23, 2005 (UTC)
      • Well that would look just tacky wouldn't it? -- Riffsyphon1024 15:22, Jun 24, 2005 (UTC)
        • I suppose it would, but I don't have another solution right now. -Joshuapaquin 20:39, Jun 24, 2005 (UTC)
          • Since when was open source creative commons Wikipedia about giving credit to contributors?!?!?!--The_stuart 23:01, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
            • Heh. Good point. So here's my thought: Do whatever you want. -Joshuapaquin 04:59, Jun 25, 2005 (UTC)

Removed from Google Maps edit

A discussion was made between me and Adam Bishop about this subpage being linked from Google Maps. The decision was that it will not be included in any part of the article. Do not attempt to put the link back in without discussion. You may discuss further matters on my talk page or contact the admin, Adam Bishop about this. • Thorpe • 19:39, 20 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

Why put it in the external links of Google Maps, it's internal so it is removed. -- Thorpe talk 18:01, 30 October 2005 (UTC)Reply
Well, should it go in the See Also section then? -Joshuapaquin 22:22, 30 October 2005 (UTC)Reply

White house roofs edit

I don't see editing on white house roofs - is it removed, or is it very subtle?

It looks to me like there's no more editing. The Capitol isn't redacted either. -Joshuapaquin 16:21, 29 April 2006 (UTC)Reply

Deletion edit

I believe this page has been made obsolete by GeoHack, which provides much better functionality and is integrated into thousands of articles. If no one objects, I'll request this page be deleted. -Joshuapaquin (talk) 18:45, 5 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
