March 2008 edit

Hello and thanks for your edit to List of social networking websites! Unfortunately it had to be reverted, because the website you added to the list does not have a Wikipedia article. Please write the article first, and make sure that the article follows Wikipedia guidelines, especially as concerns verifiability and reliable sources. If the site is not notable according to the Wikipedia definition, it shouldn't have an article and neither should it be in the list. Thank you! --Bonadea (talk) 07:50, 30 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

April 2008 edit

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to Colonization of Mars, you will be blocked from editing. Virgo or "virgle" is an april fool's prank and obviously so, please stop adding it BananaFiend (talk) 11:22, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

This is the last warning you will receive for your disruptive edits.
The next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did to List of social networking websites, you will be blocked from editing. kiwibox is not a social networking site, it is a magazine site. Considering your previous edits, I am assuming vandalism BananaFiend (talk) 11:27, 1 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Newton Falls, Ohio edit

Greetings, Joshchicko! I noticed your recent edits to Newton Falls, Ohio... good editing! If there's anything I can do to help, as a longtime Wikipedian and a resident of Windham, Ohio, please let me know. -- JeffBillman (talk) 00:18, 13 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your recent edit, but it seemed to do nothing more than re-introduce edits that were removed by other editors. Typically, a reversion is done only to address vandalism, or in other instances where to allow the edit to stand would be problematic from the standpoint of Wikipedia. I don't see reason why these edits should not stand. Cheers! -- JeffBillman (talk) 01:00, 31 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Kiwibox edit

A tag has been placed on Kiwibox requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for web content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. NAHID 18:36, 17 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Carl Keyes and Aid for the World edit

The article Carl Keyes and Aid for the World has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

no evidence of notability

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 20:46, 20 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Aid for the World edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Aid for the World, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://aidfortheworld.org/?page_id=3. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page.
