First off, I am not sure why I am bothering to respond to your anonymous post. 2nd off, you expressed concerns about mockery and disruption. If this user name isn't used for mockery or disruption then you have nothing to worry aboutJoseph Smith, Jr. (b.1805) (talk) 13:59, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Furthermore, there is a person with the username John Foxe who has done hundreds of edits on the Joseph Smith, Jr. Article. For the record, John Foxe was a christian theologian in history. So why has my username been nominated for follow up but John Foxe's not? And if you read my user page you can gauge for yourself what my intent for having this username is.

Finally, do I stand accused of breaking wikipedia policy, or someday possibly breaking it? Let's be clear, here are the official username guidelines and I am not in violation of one iota:

1. Misleading usernames imply relevant, misleading things about the contributor. Misleading names include those that imply you are in a position of authority over Wikipedia, or those that impersonate other people.
2. Promotional usernames are used to promote a group, company, product or website on Wikipedia.
3. Offensive usernames are those that offend other contributors, making harmonious editing difficult or impossible.

On this diff it is clear that until 6 December 2009 @ 16:50 you claimed to be Joseph Smith, Jr. on your user page. Additionally you assumed that persona with this edit to Talk:Joseph Smith, Jr.. Given the events surrounding the death of Joseph Smith, Jr., stating he is in fact alive implies a complete denial of those events, which can be viewed as an insult to those belonging to one of the churches in the Latter Day Saint movement. Likewise, where JS Jr. still alive, he would be considered by some to be a prophet, seer, and revelator and thereby perhaps the authority on Mormonism. I have removed the category, on the assumption that you will not, whether as a joke or otherwise, pretend or represent yourself to be that Joesph Smith who was the founder of the Mormon church. Should you do so in future, you might be blocked for this as it may constitute a disruptive action, depending on the view of any users who might complain about the matter, or any admins who act on such complaints.
