Jean Skipwith WP:REFB

You suggested I use inline sources per WP:REFB. Thank you for your suggestion. I've not done this before, but WP:REFB does not seem show up in a toolbox on my edit draft page. The article was originally rejected as not be notable enough, perhaps not having enough sources published by university presses. I have added more, but, at this stage, I do not even know if the subject matter will be accepted. If the subject matter is accepted and I can find WP:REFB, I will certainly try to comply. Thank you again. — Preceding unsigned comment added by CPBenagh (talkcontribs) 13:57, 10 December 2016 (UTC)

Draft:Cumnor House Sussex

Draft:Cumnor House Sussex (edit | [[Talk:Draft:Cumnor House Sussex|talk]] | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

Hi Joseph,

Thank you for your help and suggestions regarding a DRAFT submission made some time ago; for Cumnor House Sussex on Joseph2302 09:29, 27 August 2016 (UTC)

I have made several edits to the page since, and would like to resubmit shortly. I have explored your advice re: Primary schools aren't generally notable enough for a Wikipedia article, per WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES. However, many other similar primary schools in the area, as well as contemporary schools have page entries. Some seem incredibly thin indeed.

What is it that these entries bring that Cumnor House Sussex does not? Any help and guidance would be appreciated.

A brief list includes; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cumnor_House_School (note that this is a different school) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brambletye_School https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Walstead_School https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ashdown_House,_East_Sussex https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handcross_Park_School https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windlesham_House_School https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millfield_Preparatory_School https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_School https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cheam_School

WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, just because other things exist on Wikipedia doesn't mean yours should. I've proposed for deletion a couple of them. The others also have independent reliable sources, as required by Wikipedia's notability guidelines. Most sources in Draft:Cumnor House Sussex are primary sources. Thank you kindly for an excellent DYK nom, especially as I had something similar in mind, using "sex and smoking". Edwardx (talk) 23:35, 28 December 2016 (UTC)

Edwardx No problem, if you have any alternate suggestions, feel free to add them. I'll do the QPQ tomorrow as I'm in the lull between Christmas and New Year. Joseph2302 (talk) 23:39, 28 December 2016 (UTC)
