January 2011 edit

Please do not add hoaxes to Wikipedia, such as you did in the article DZBB-AM. Hoaxes are caught and marked for deletion shortly after they are created. If you are interested in how accurate Wikipedia is, a more constructive test method would be to try to find inaccurate statements that are already in Wikipedia – and then to correct them if possible. Please do not disrupt Wikipedia in an attempt to test our ability to detect and remove such material. Feel free to take a look at the five pillars of Wikipedia to learn more about this project and how you can make a positive impact. Thank you. -WayKurat (talk) 03:07, 7 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. When editing an article on Wikipedia there is a small field labeled "Edit summary" under the main edit-box. It looks like this:

The text written here will appear on the Recent changes page, in the page revision history, on the diff page, and in the watchlists of users who are watching that article. See m:Help:Edit summary for full information on this feature.

Filling in the edit summary field greatly helps your fellow contributors in understanding what you changed, so please always fill in the edit summary field. If you are adding a section, please do not just keep the previous section's header in the Edit summary field – please fill in your new section's name instead. Thank you. - 220.101 talk\Contribs 10:19, 14 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Proceeded" edit

Hi. This is a reminder regarding your edit to December 2010 lunar eclipse. Remember that when event A occurs before event B, then event B follows event A, and in this circumstance event A also precedes event B. Please keep this in mind when making future edits to articles. Thanks. ~AH1(TCU) 03:08, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Pangunahing Balita edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Pangunahing Balita requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion, or "db", tag; if no such tag exists, then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hang-on tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Dusti*poke* 08:10, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Pangunahing Balita edit

The article Pangunahing Balita has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Not enough context to identify the subject or establish further notability other than a "News Station". No sources or references.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Dusti*poke* 08:15, 28 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: Number of episodes aired edit

Are you sure that that is the EXACT number of episodes aired on every article that you edit? It seems that you are just multiplying the number of weekdays in a year and add them up. Also, you are using the section incorrectly. It should be the number of episodes as of the LAST DAY it aired, not from its pilot date. -WayKurat (talk) 11:46, 13 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Re: Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation edits edit

Please do not add commentary or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. -WayKurat (talk) 05:08, 23 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

March 2011 edit

Please do not add or change content without verifying it by citing reliable sources, as you did to Canterbury Television. Before making any potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. -- azumanga (talk) 21:13, 15 March 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your contributed article, Solar eclipses on the Moon edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I notice that you recently created a new page, Solar eclipses on the Moon. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as yourself. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page - Lunar eclipse. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Lunar eclipse - you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think that the article you created should remain separate, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. TimL (talk)

January 2012 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not replace pages with blank content, as you did with this edit to 1987 in the Philippines, as this is confusing to readers. The page's content has been restored for now. If there is a problem with the page, it should be edited or reverted to a previous version if possible; if you think the page should be removed entirely, see further information. Thank you. Disambiguation link notification edit

Hi. When you recently edited 1987 in Philippine television, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages That's Entertainment and Ang Panday (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

This is in reference to you creating the hoax article [[Bombing of Sapporo in World War II] (something which never happened: [1]), and the largely fictional United States Navy attacks on Hokkaido and northern Honshu (which did happen, but not in anything much like the way you described it). I presume that you're the person who's been repeatedly adding these claims to the Air raids on Japan article. Please stop, or you will be blocked for an indefinite period. Proposed deletion of Loveli-Ness edit

The article Loveli-Ness has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Notability not established by enough sources. I found one in print but it mentions the show in passing, not describing it in detail. Binksternet (talk) 14:39, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

ArbCom elections are now open! edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
