Choosing the right name for an article.

edit

Hi, I need a help to pick the right name for an article. It will tell a story of Victor Mokhov, who abducted 2 girls and kept them in captivity for some 3 years. Similar articles are written under the name of a victim (Like Natascha Kampusch), but in this case we have 2 victims, so the name will be too long. Alternatevly, the article can bear a name of the criminal, but this is somewhat inconsistent. Anyway, I want to focus on the story, not on persons. I am in doubt. Hi, I think in this case it would probably be best to use the name of the abducter. Is there a name for the incident? If so, you can use that as the title. With wikipedia, it is easy to have as many titles as you want for an article (within reason and moderation by other users). You do this by making page redirects - to do so type #REDIRECT [[Insert name of page to be redirected to]]. Hope this helps - please feel free to ask any question you want on my talk page (note that redirect pages are watched carefully, so try not to create un-obvious redirects :) ) Thanks Martinp23 18:51, 7 September 2006 (UTC)Reply
