Grant Stinchfield edit
Per WP:POLITICIAN, a person is not notable just for being a candidate for office — and at this point, Stinchfield isn't even a candidate in the general election yet, but merely a candidate in a party primary that has yet to occur, and which he may or may not win. In principle, a politician cannot be considered notable on here until he or she has actually won an election — although some candidates do manage to get articles on here even in losing, that comes down to the quality of the article that gets written, and is not because unelected candidates have any entitlement to be on here.
And furthermore, most of the references you left on my page are blog entries, which do not count as reliable sources — and the article, as written, contained no references at all, and was written in a campaign brochure sort of tone that does not meet our neutral point of view rules. So even if he were notable enough, he still wouldn't be entitled to that version of the article.
So as things stand if he wins the Republican nomination you might be able to make a credible case that he's notable enough for an encyclopedia article (though you'd still have to write a better one than that first piece of campaign advertising you wrote today.) But as of right now, he's not entitled to be on Wikipedia just for being a candidate in a future primary. Bearcat (talk) 06:49, 3 February 2012 (UTC)

Your message edit
I am familiar who the users are that warned you, and it was removed because it failed Wikipedia:Politician and was seen as advertising (see Wikipedia:G11). It wasn't that people affiliated with other politicians removed the page. If you would like to start the page again, please see Wikipedia:Politician, Wikipedia:Writing better articles or ask me. - To add to that: WP:POLITICIAN expressly excludes articles about political candidates. One of the many reasons for that was well illustrated by the Stinchfield article, which immediately became a WP:BATTLEGROUND with single-purpose accounts adding and removing information and accusing each other of bias and corruption. That is not what an encyclopedia is for - please take your political squabbles elsewhere. Before you edit again, please read WP:Neutral point of view, Wikipedia is not a soapbox or means of promotion and WP:No personal attacks.
