I was looking through the list of wikipedians who had Asperger's Snydrome and noticed that you were in the military. Do they really let Autistic people into the services? Mrld 19:06, 16 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Patti Miner edit

I am replacing the notability tag on this page. If you look at the notability guidelines you'll see that appearing on a self-publish label like CD Baby is not one of the criteria. You need to find some reliable 3rd party sources to verify the claims of notabiilty. I am also removing the YouTube link again as I believe this is a copyright violation. I note from your username that your last name is Gagon, please be aware that you should avoid writing about subjects where you may have a conflict of interest. --Deadly∀ssassin 02:15, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks. I'll get some other sources. I grew up in the area and am a fan of her music.

Response edit

I'll replace it ASAP with something that I have explicit permission for although I have implicit permission from the owner of the copyright for the current one. Johngagon (talk) 03:45, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply

John, please click on the discussion link above and comment here. Otherwise, no one will see it. -- Ricky81682 (talk) 06:50, 21 November 2008 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. I'm still learning a lot.

Speedy deletion nomination of Get equal edit

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

A tag has been placed on Get equal requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject of the article is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hang on}} at the top of the article, immediately below the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate), and providing your reasons for contesting on the article's talk page, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. You may freely add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

You may want to read the guidelines for specific types of articles: biographies, websites, bands, or companies. roleplayer 14:00, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

NB As is the page is likely to get deleted. If you have more info later in the week, you an re-create the article at that time. Travelbird (talk) 14:02, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
Can I just reiterate what Travelbird has said above. It sounds like an excellent organisation, and if it is gaining notoriety then all the better for an article to exist about it. However it is always better to have the full details before you create the article because unless you show the notability of the subject area it will be deleted. I look forward to reading more about it when you have more details. -- roleplayer 14:06, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
See WP:Notability for the standard you will have to meet if the article is to be kept: "significant coverage in reliable sources that are independent of the subject." Significant means more than just listing-type mentions; reliable excludes Myspace, Facebook, blogs, places where anyone can post anything; independent excludes the subject's own website, affiliated ones and press releases. More at WP:Notability (organizations and companies). If you want to take time to develop the article, you would do best to make a draft in your user space at User:Johngagon/Get equal. Good general advice at WP:Your first article. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 16:18, 18 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of File:M72god.jpg edit

The file File:M72god.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

unused, low-res, no obvious use

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.

This bot DID NOT nominate any file(s) for deletion; please refer to the page history of each individual file for details. Thanks, FastilyBot (talk) 01:02, 15 March 2020 (UTC)Reply
