In response to your question on the Help Desk, simply use the 'edit this page' tab at the very top, above the article's title (it looks like this). The [edit] links next to the section titles allow you to edit only that section, while the 'edit this page' tab lets you edit the entire article. I hope this helps. Polarity Therapy edit

Hello Johnchitty,

It seems to me that an article you worked on, Polarity Therapy, may be copied from http://www.lumrix.net/health/Polarity_therapy.html. It's entirely possible that I made a mistake, but I wanted to let you know because Wikipedia is strict about copying from other sites.

It's important that you edit the article and rewrite it in your own words, unless you're absolutely certain nothing in it is copied. If you're not sure how to fix the problem or have any questions, there are people at the help desk who are happy to assist you.

Thank you for helping build a free encyclopedia! MadmanBot (talk) 18:09, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Polarity Therapy edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Polarity Therapy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that the page was nominated in error, contest the nomination by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion" in the speedy deletion tag. Doing so will take you to the talk page where you can explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but do not hesitate to add information that is consistent with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. Altered Walter (talk) 18:25, 20 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Polarity Therapy edit

The article was deleted as a result of this discussion at articles for deletion. Articles for deletion is a process where Wikipedia editors evaluate articles over a period of seven days and discuss whether they should be deleted. After seven days an administrator closes the discussion and implements the result (which here was the deletion of the article). These discussions are considered somewhat binding: if you repost the page's content without trying to address the concerns raised in the discussion, then the article will just be deleted again, as happened here. (The person who told you that your recreation was OK seems to have been comparing it with the version of the original article when it was deleted in 2012 and apparently didn't realise that it was copied from an earlier version from several years ago.)

Individual administrators can't overturn the result of these deletion debates. If you do want to get the article restored then your best bet is to write a userspace draft and submit it to deletion review. If you do this then you should make sure you address the concerns raised in the discussion - arguing that the participants in the debate were completely wrong is unlikely to work. You may also want to contact the administrator who closed the discussion, Sandstein. Hut 8.5 20:12, 25 February 2013 (UTC)Reply
