Citations needed edit

I noted your recent addition of Laura Ebke's party switch to her article (diff). Unfortunately, you didn't support it with a citation.

This is not a good thing. Material about living people, especially politicians, should always be supported with citations; see WP:BLP. If it's not, any editor who's so inclined is free to remove it. They're not obliged to check up on the material themselves; that's the responsibility of the editor who inserted it.

I've added a citation to a World-Herald story re. Ebke. However, if you're planning to edit articles on living people in the future, it'd be a good idea to learn how to add citations, and then to put this knowledge into effect. Thanks— Ammodramus (talk) 02:54, 2 June 2016 (UTC)Reply
